VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
THIS FUN & PROFITABLE SALE CANNOT HAPPEN WITHOUT YOUR HELP
· Sort, set up and mark items the week of October 5th - days and evenings
· Booth workers the day of the sale
· Kitchen helpers for the lunch
· Bakers to donate pies, cakes, cookies, bread, muffins for the bake sale booth.
· Donors of really good stuff to sell at the sale—START SAVING NOW!
· Clean up crew to pack up what is left over and arrange for it to be picked up

Choir Extends Invitation to Sing "The Creation"

Michael Barna, Senior Choir Director, invites you to join the choir in rehearsals of Haydn's "The Creation", to be performed October 25, 2008 as part of the 150th Anniversary celebration. Rehearsals begin Thursday, April 17 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. and run through early June. There will be two special rehearsals scheduled this summer and then weekly Thursday rehearsals resume in September. Volunteer Opportunity - Serving the Hungry

The Central City Churches Outreach Ministry Food Pantry is located at Our Savior's and is now recruiting new volunteers.
If you have one morning a month to volunteer, 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, you can help! Sorters, packers and interviewers are needed to serve the nearly 1000 people per month who come to this food pantry.

Roundy's Foundation Makes Food Donation

On April 1 volunteers with vans and pick-up trucks arrived at the new Pick 'N Save store on Miller Parkway to pick up a donation of more than 7000 pounds of non-perishable food. Roundys Foundation made the donation to the Central City Churches Food Pantry and 7000 pounds to each of five other area pantries to help address hunger in Milwaukee. Thank you Roundys!
